Bedding

Signed Brandon and I up for baby classes!! We start our first one next Monday.
I am excited to start the class but disappointed that this class falls on my Bible Study night.
I think God will understand though!

I have had heartburn all day today...
took tums of course they only work for about 30 minutes at a time.
It isn't bad heartburn just annoying.

Getting There

Pedro came over and painted Paisley's Room (Ballerina Pink) today. When I got home from work I was so amazed to see it finished so quickly. It is going to be the cutest room ever. So since I was super excited about the color and it being finished I had to make some phone calls. I called the people making the crib and cradle bedding and they said they will be done by next Friday! I then called Lonestar Baby to see about all our furniture and it is there ready to be shipped.. so it will be here within 2 weeks! My how it is going to come together rather quickly now. So in two weeks someone will deliever the crib, night stand, dresser, mattress, chair, and bed rails and put it all together too! And on top of that the bedding might already be here since the company I ordered from drop ships! Then I have to start looking for small things but it will basically be ready for our little girl... just waiting for her.

Doctor Update!

Brandon and I went to see Dr. Albert today a high risk doctor. Guess what? Paisley is wonderful and is perfect. She weighs 1 lb 1 oz and has all of her fingers and toes. She is 6 days behind where she should be in growth but the doctor assured us that she is fine and where she should be and that it is not a big deal that she is measuring a little behind. We are so blessed with the good news thank you everyone who was praying for us. Also good to know that she is in the 25-50th percentile not the 9th like my ob had said. I am so glad that we went to the doctor today and did not wait until Friday. My whole week will be much better knowing that my little baby girl is okay.
*Tonight I start bible study again.

Pebbles

Poor Pebbles. Today I gave Pebbles a bath. As I was drying her off I noticed something on her head. I thought maybe it was a scab, as I looked more closely I noticed it was a TICK, that was moving its legs and sucking her blood. I tried to get it off with a paper towel and that did not work. I had to go get my tweezers and clamp on to its head and pull as hard as I could to get it off of her. It made me sick to my tummy for her. She has a bite on her head and it had to hurt her to have that tick on there but she was a good sport about me getting it off she did not cry. She is such a big girl.

Another Update:

I went back to the doctor on Wednesday for a sonogram to check on Paisley. Thursday I got a call from my doctor saying that Paisley dropped in weight. I am 22 weeks and she only weighs 9 oz. She should weight 16 oz.  She was in the 14th percentile and now she is in the 9th. All this was within 4 weeks. My doctor wanted me to see another doctor  (Perinatologist: An obstetrical sub specialist concerned with the care of the mother and fetus at higher-than-normal risk for complications) on the 17th to check on Paisley, my placenta and uterus. I wanted to go sooner and the doctor did not have anything available so Shay helped us find someone that could get us in sooner. So my next apt is now on Monday at 1 in Frisco. More than likely Paisley is fine but if something is wrong we want to start the process of fixing it as soon as possible and Friday just was not cutting it for us. It could be as simple as I need more vitamins or more rest.

On a different note Stormie has a volleyball game tonight and Sunday is Sherry's Birthday party. Two things to keep my mind busy!!!

Friday my mother and I went to Canton. We did some shopping!!! I picked out my baby bedding. It is going to be beautiful. I custom designed one just for my little Paisley. We also picked up some onesies that had adorable sayings on them... like "The bigger the bow the better the mommy". I also picked up some birthday gifts while we were there. I ate so much in Canton and the good news about that is I picked up that weight that I had dropped in DC. I have been trying to pick out paint to match my bedding. I am up to 6 different options.
