I worked from home yesterday on hair bows all day long. When I do this I get to watch TV all day too. I watch movies and old reruns of great shows and it is a ton of fun for me! However, I should say that being pregnant I should not be aloud to watch sad movies. I watched My Sister's Keeper and cried the entire time it was on. I don't think that I will be watching any more sad movies in the near future.

This week I went to get blood work done on Monday and Wednesday. The doctor called me on Thursday and said my results were back. She told me that my progesterone levels were perfect.
The definition for PROGESTERONE: A steroid hormone secreted by the corpus luteum and by the placenta, that acts to prepare the uterus for implantation of the fertilized ovum, to maintain pregnancy, and to promote development of the mammary glands.
My doctors only concern was that my HCG levels did not double within 48 hours. She had said that she likes them to double within that time frame. I took this as not good news. And was very concerned for my sweet pea in my tummy. She said that my levels started out at 5 thousand and on Wednesday they were 9 thousand. So I did my own research when I got a chance.
This is what I found out with my intense research:
HCG is produced during pregnancy. It is made by cells that form the placenta, which nourishes the egg after it has been fertilized and becomes attached to the uterine wall. In general the HCG levels will double every 72 hours. *I guess my doctor just likes it within 48 hours? In a bout 85% of normal pregnancies, the HCG level will double every 48 - 72 hours. Caution must be used in making too much of HCG numbers. A normal pregnancy may have low HCG levels and result in a perfectly healthy baby.
So that is my news! Much better after I did my own research on what my doctor was trying to tell me. However my doctor is concerned so please pray for my little one in my belly.
My next appointment is June 7th.

Another Sunday
On Sunday Brandon and I had lunch with his parents at Macaroni Grill. I ate an entire loaf of bread by myself. I know everyone does when they go so don't judge. After lunch Brandon and I drove out to Cedar Hill to look at the pretty houses. When we got home Brandon played video games and I rested. Afterword we went to my mom and dads house. Dad cooked burgers, I have to admit he cooks the best burgers ever. Everyone made it to dinner! It was really nice to see Shane, Keziah, Landon and Hagan. The boys were so funny and they were so much fun to be around. Landon is great at basketball and Hagan laughs over everything. It was a nice Sunday.

ps
P.S. for dinner I had fried pickles, buffalo chicken sandwich and french fries. Not the healthiest thing for a pregnant women to be eating but I told Brandon that tomorrow I will go on a nice long walk and eat better. I was just CRAVING all that and oh it was delicious.

How exciting. Next week I have to go on Monday and Wednesday to give blood. Then my next Doctors appointment will be on June 7th, which is in 3 weeks. A Mother's Day to Remember
Brandon got home from his trip last night (Saturday at 11pm) and I had exciting news for him. I had been keeping this secret for two entire days. I know it seems like a short while however with something this big it seemed like forever. Friday afternoon I found out I was pregnant. Long story short I took a pregnancy test that morning and I read it wrong! It was the clear blue easy one too. I mean who on earth would read that wrong. (it had two blue lines and I guess that means you are pregnant, I did not read the instructions) Later that day I looked at the box and saw that two blue lines meant PREGNANT. I have been wanting to be pregnant for a while now and then I read I was... I freaked out because I was so excited. I had to keep it to myself though (not tell any family until I knew Brandon was home from his work trip). I called my best friend Taylor and told her everything. I knew she would not go blab and ruin everything for me (telling people). Taylor calmed me down so I could go to a family event. Anyways, back to telling Brandon. It was so cute. I had a present waiting for him when he got home. It was a sleeper and bib that said I love dad on it. Brandon opened the package and he was so excited. He actually sat on the couch with me for about 15 minutes telling me how excited he was. I remember he said "we have to get the baby room ready" (like it was tomorrow we were having the baby) It really was super cute. He also said he knew I was.
I thought to myself when Brandon got home what a blessing for him to come home the day before Mother's day. (he could have been gone up to two weeks) I really wanted to tell our family's that next day, how special that would be. A Mother's day never to forget. So we went to church with Brandon's family this morning and then to lunch. Pam opened her gift and then at the end of lunch we handed her a card. Inside the card was a piece of the pregnancy box. She was so excited she cried. I think she thought that this was the best Mother's day gift in the world. Bryan, Brooke and Gran were all there and all excited and they all have great plans already. We have pictures on Pam's camera and I will upload them tomorrow, I forgot my camera and I was so upset about that. So after lunch we called the rest of Brandon's family. Everyone was excited and happy and just thrilled to the bone to have another child in the family. Pam called me tonight also to tell me for now since they do not know if we are having a boy or girl they would just call the baby "SWEET PEA" This is how Pam explained it. The names that Brandon and I have picked out are Paisley and Paxton and since they are both "P's" that is just what they will call the baby OR babies haha I have always wanted a boy and girl at the same time (doubtful though, it is not really in the family).
This afternoon we went to my parent's house for dinner. I went early because I was cooking for the family. Well my mother opened her gift and then later that night Brandon went to like play hit me in the stomach and of course I freaked out. I said "you CAN NOT hit me". Well I had not mentioned anything to my family at this point and everyone was in the kitchen. So... my brother Jeremy said why are you pregnant? and he was just kidding this was the second or third time he mentioned it today. And I tried to play it off but I had all these emotions and started laughing. So I said okay mom here is your Mother's day card. She said you are pregnant without even opening it. Then she opened it. Mom, Dad, Jeremy and Stormie were all excited. They messed with me all night. They made fun at me and with me and it was all funny (for now) since I am not fat yet. It was all great company and a ton of fun to talk to everyone about the news. Dinner was amazing too. I had two very large brownies and a ton of potatoes... everyone noticed that too. Oh well though right?
I am just so thrilled and blessed to have two wonderful families in my life. Thank you everyone for loving me so much. I love you all back.

It has been a fast week even though I have been without Brandon. He is coming back tonight in about 30 minutes, I can't wait to see him and talk to him. I have had a wonderful week even though he was gone. I was with Bryan, Pam and Brooke a couple times this week. They made sure that I always had something to do. I went to my parents house this afternoon. My mother, Stormie and I all went out shopping and then we all got pedicures (we all needed it bad I think) and then we went out to eat. I just got done cleaning up the house and now I am waiting on Brandon. Tomorrow is Mother's day and I can't wait for it!!

This week I have been working a ton. It felt like all I did was work, eat and sleep. One day this week I had breakfast, lunch and dinner at work. I am so happy to say that I got all of my $25K of uniforms put into my store and now they are ready to be sold. I could not have done this without my wonderful staff. Thanks girls.
I woke up this morning to my cell phone ringing. My mom wanted me to go to Canton with her. We went and it was a great day to go too. The sun was out and it was perfect weather. What more could you ask for right? Well I was thinking maybe some beef jerky.... we did not find any. Other than not finding my jerky I had a wonderful time with my mom. We did all sorts of shopping. Thanks mom for a wonderful time and some great outfits. When we got back from Canton we went to eat in Cedar Hill at Campozanos and it hit the spot. What a great day!
Tomorrow I was thinking I would get a pedicure since I worked so hard this week my feet need a break.
